SimbirSoft at SECR 2011
On November 01-03, SimbirSoft took part in the Seventh SECR 2011 scientific-practical software development conference. SimbirSoft was represented by director Sergei Yurkin, vice director Oleg Vlasenko, and project manager Ilya Kashtankin.
Over the three-day conference, around 100 events took place – talks, round tables, and master classes prepared by specialists from Intel, Luxoft, Parallels, T-Systems, IBM, Adobe, Microsoft, Motorola, Red Hat, and other recognized experts in software development. The 2011 conference program included such subjects as: cloud computing, Agile methodology, mobile application development, new programming languages, social networking applications, and software reliability assurance. Considerable attention this year was also given to IT project management. The management section included discussion of developing and managing small IT companies, including start-ups.
The SECR conference is noted for its practice-oriented approach and the chance for a tête-à-tête with leading players on the IT market. Some ideas expressed at the conference have already been implemented in our company practice. We believe that participating in these events helps SimbirSoft develop and operate successfully on both Russian and foreign software development markets.
"Software Engineering Conference (Russia)" (www.secr.ru) is an annual independent conference that convenes around 1000 participants, including software developers, researchers, practical engineers, public opinion shapers, entrepreneurs, and investors. In the years since its inception, the CEE-SECR conference has gained rightful authority as the chief professional event of the software develop industry in Russia and Eastern Europe.
