Configuring Jira Products for Paysend

Fortune Business Insights predicts that the task management software market is expected to grow almost threefold to $ 4.54 billion by 2026, and Atlassian with the Jira product family is mentioned among the key players. Below we are sharing how we migrated data from Jira Server to Jira Cloud for Paysend, the international FinTech company, due to the expiration of their Jira server license.

What We Did

Our task was to migrate user data with all linked tasks and tickets from Jira Server and Confluence Server to Atlassian Cloud. For this, we built communication between Paysend employees and our support specialists to help us quickly resolve questions concerning working in the Jira cloud. Throughout our work, we administered the system and resolved any technical issues. Testing after migration ensured that all data had been moved correctly.

Jira tools were limited in functionality to complete some requests so we selected, installed, and tested plugins that expand the main functionality of these tools. For example, navigating the project structure for large-scale tasks was difficult so we created a workflow map to allow us better visibility and ultimately helped our client build a more transparent workflow.

During our collaboration, we immersed ourselves in the client's demands and find the most suitable solutions for them. Together, we identified the following tasks for the organization of IT support:

— To create a contact center for both Paysend employees and their clients;

— To set up users' assessment of the quality of problem-solving;

— To record SLA metrics: time indicators for taking orders into work and their implementation.

Together with the client, we decided to implement Jira Service Management. Our team participated in setting up this service and training the Paysend support team to work with it.
