Mafin: Online Platform for Personal Insurance Services
Insurance Platform Based on Big Data and Machine Learning.
AbsoluteTech asked us to create an insurance platform using Big Data and Machine Learning. The system calculates the client's personal cost of comprehensive insurance and third party motor liability insurance (MTPL) via the chat bot. We have developed 20 fast and secure microservices for Mafin platform.
Tasks
Our main tasks were: to integrate the API with the online platform, help to develop a chatbot and 20 microservices, automate testing and improve product security.
Solutions
In order to reduce errors of the chatbot as much as possible we automated testing of various user scenarios. Our dedicated QA team helped to build up a bug management process and dealt with over 500 test cases two months before the release.
Outcomes
Chatbot is the key functionality of the platform for users. A car driver can quickly find out how much the MTPL or comprehensive insurance costs via bot. The platform analyzes more than 70 different aspects and their relationship. It also provides an accurate risk calculation, which reduces the cost of the policy. In addition, the chat saves clients' time. A user only needs to specify a phone number and a license plate or send a driver's license photo. Car drivers can get bonuses by completing various tasks and accumulating points in the Mafin app.
