UI Redesign of a Financial Aggregator Platform
We performed a UI redesign within the client’s financial platform, resulting in increased user satisfaction and improved speed and average amount of wallet top-ups.
Customer
The client is a financial aggregator.
Task
The team was tasked with accelerating the wallet top-up process in the mobile version and increasing profitability.
Solution
Upon analyzing the user journey, we identified the following issues:

Uninformative entry point into the wallet top-up process

Complex and cluttered screen

Uninformative status screens

Lack of user prompts for transfers
To address these issues, we proposed:

Simplifying the main screen and consolidating all elements into a single scroll on mobile devices

Introducing clickable chips (interface elements) for user convenience

Implementing transfer templates with bank information and amounts (based on recent transfers)
-
Updating status screens to make them more informative and user-friendly
Results
Our hypotheses were confirmed, and the updated user journey positively impacted user satisfaction with the platform and business metrics.
Two months after the release of the updated wallet top-up process:

The speed of top-ups increased by approximately 64%.

The average top-up amount grew. The percentage of users topping up their wallets with 50,000 ₽ rose from 38.5% to 41.2%, with 10,000 ₽ from 26.3% to 28.8%, and 200,000 ₽ from 12% to 13.4%.

The number of calls to the call center related to money transfers decreased by 34%.
